| The Ntubeni School situated near the Dwesa Nature Reserve on the Wild Coast was in desperate need of renovations and repairs to their buildings. The 450 pupils at the school, some of who had to walk for several kilometres, resorted to using the nearby church as a classroom. Lithotech Sales East London formed a joint venture with the local community whereby they would supply the building materials and the community would do the restoration work at the school.
Lithotech Sales East London also approached Lithotech divisions, Silveray Manufacturing, to make student exercise books and Lithotech Sales Cape to supply writing pads. They also secured an array of stationery items that were left over from the DRC elections. |
