Philippi High School, a high school situated in the township of Philippi in Cape Town, opened in February 2007 because of overcrowding at the other high schools in the neighbouring area that left many students without schools to attend. As the school is fairly new and without many resources, Globe Stationers (a Lithotech division) sponsored the school with office supplies, stationery as well as plaques to identify the classrooms and offices.

There are plans to set up a library as the pupils are using old newspapers as reading material as well. They also plan to expose the students to career opportunities in the printing industry by taking them on regular visits to Globe, Lithotech Afric Mail Cape and Lithotech Sales Cape. Globe is also currently sourcing sponsorship for computers for the school, and they have already sponsored three thus far.
